Death rehearsals are a category of death contemplation that is not well-represented in the Theravadin Buddhist world, but vividly represented in other traditions. I discuss them further in this post.

The Four Mind Turnings

This is a Tibetan Buddhist set of contemplations, sometimes referred to as the “ordinary ngondro” or “regular preliminaries.” Ordinary or regular in the sense of suitable to do without any kind of initiation. [more to come.]
